Common Research Center «Physics and technology of micro- and nanostructures»
Regional Common Research Center «Physics and technology of micro- and nanostructures» was created in 2003 as a subdivision of the IPM RAS. The creation of Common Research Center was aimed to enhance the efficiency of investigations of micro- and nanostructures with the help of unique equipment of IPM RAS.
The main functions of Common Research Center:
- Support of federal, regional and international research projects;
- Diagnostics for high technology;
- Training of students and post graduate students;
- Development of experimental methodics and scientific equipment;
Investigations in Common Research Center
The research work of the Center includes a wide scope of investigations of micro- and nanostructures with the help of X ray diffraction, electron microscopy, scanning probe microscopy, optical, microwave and X ray spectroscopy, Scondary Ion Mass Spectrometry, electrophysical investigations of semiconductor microstructures, investigations of magnetic and superconducting properties of films and nanostructures, precise optical measurements.
